BodyZone Roswell BookSwap
Next Swap Date:
A SATURDAY IN NOVEMBER TO BE ANNOUNCED-- 11:00am-1pm
(You may drift in anytime during these hours.)
How It Works:
1. This is an open event, open to everyone in Roswell, Alpharetta, John's Creek, Duluth and the surrounding areas!
2. We'll accept (just about) all types /genres of books. We have a healthy and growing selection of; mystery/suspense, fiction, nonfiction, sci-fi/fantasy, reference/how-to, romance, humor, spiritual/inspirational, business. Now also accepting teen level books in excellent condition. No textbooks / No software manuals.
3. Books must be in excellent to gently used condition. No damaged, chewed, musty, oooold or torn books.
4. First time swappers must drop books off prior to your first book swap to get tickets. Repeat swappers may bring books the day of the swap for tickets - however, we strongly prefer receiving books in advance so we can sort and set up! Call or email to set up a drop off time that is convenient for you!
5. At drop off, you will receive tickets based on books value (price printed on book).
- 1 ticket up to $9.99
- 2 tickets $10.00 to $19.99
- 3 tickets $20.00 and up.
(we may have some negotiation if you have a $50 book)
Take good care of your tickets, they are Book Swap currency!
6. At drop off, you understand we may not accept some of your books, as they may be too worn, too old, otherwise not appear to be worthy of an even trade in comparison with other books collected, or for some other reason yet to be defined... Chances are good, if you read it in the past few years - someone else will want to read it too. But, no one wants to read your computer tech book from 1999 - sorry, it's useless now. I think we all get the idea. So, rule Number 6, you promise not to take offense if we don't accept a book.
7. Come to a book swap, and bring your tickets! Browse through the books, choose the ones you want, and "pay" using your tickets. Value system for trading tickets for books is the same as described above (#5).
8. If you don't use all your tickets. No worries, save them for the next book swap!
9. Our policy in the event it makes sense to discontinue the book swap in the future due to lack of interest or other unforeseen issues: All participants agree that the books will be; A) sold and the proceeds used for a group expense or event. B) sold and the proceeds given to a charity in the name of the group. C) donated in the name of the group. or D) a combination of A, B & C.
Drop off your books!
